Sunday Salsa Social

Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Rd, 1st floor.

Take part in the weekly Sunday Salsa Social at Dovercourt House! Still going strong after 4 and a half years! Buzzing energy for dancers of adv beginner and up.

• Every Sunday from 5:15 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (NEW HOURS)
• Starts with a lesson from 5:15 p.m. – 6 p.m. - $8. Shines & Styling on2 (All levels!)
• Social dancing to DJ Nilson's music from 6 pm – 10:00 pm - $5
• Teachers subject to change. Prices change during special events.

Holiday dates now confirmed: We're on all through the month of December with Latin Dance Mix at 4pm, and the social 5-10pm! Teachers alternating for on2 class.

Please note Social will increase to $6 as of January 4th, 2009.

Jan 18th: (date changed) Come celebrate Stephanie's 20th year in salsa! Toronto Dance, Sophie Luxton cabaret & Mike & Sharon confirmed. Pedro Salazaar, Rhythmic Fire, United Salseros, Paula & Jose, CDC to be confirmed. This will be such a blast from the past!

Feb 15th: Vavoom Valentine's Workshop! 11-3pm. Choose between 1/2 day or full day. Dips, sexy turn patterns and body movement on the menu! More info coming soon.

Feb 15th: 6th Annual Valentine's Social. Shows and prizes, including Rafael's Cuban Caberet Ladies (14-member cast!) plus Danilo & Esther's new performance!

Student Outings

Every six weeks at the end of a session, students and instructors go dance. Whether it’s at the social or at a weekend festival, we dance, check out live music and have a great time! Next: TBA.

We are usually at the Toronto Salsa Practice (.com) Saturdays 3:30 onwards! This is the best place for beginners to socialize.
